HOT

bismillahirrahmanirrahim

How are you today? May Allah shower all of us with his love and blessing.. Do we realize that our weather becoming more hotter and hotter nowadays, and the rain will come in a sudden.

I read Berita Harian Online last weekend that world now is affected by el-Nino, you can read HERE, and Info on El Nino can be read HERE.

Some light advice to all of you during this hot weather:
  • Organising your day to avoid being outside during the hottest time, around 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm. I like to stay in the library during this time, cos it's cold there.. :)
  • Wearing a hat and light, loose-fitting clothing, and keeping to the shade, if you have to go out. OK, loose-fitting cloth is my favourite..
  • Taking plenty of water with you wherever you go. I always bring a bottle of water everyday..
  • Taking cold showers or baths and splashing yourself often with cold water. I like shower too.. :)
  • Open your windows at night, when it's cooler. Oh yeah, my windows is always open day and night, that's why mosquito always disturb my dream..
  • Keep drinking plenty of fluids, like juice or water, and avoid coffee and alcohol. But coffee is my favourite breakfast.... :(
  • Avoid heavy and hot food; modify your diet to include plenty of fruit and salad as this helps keep you hydrated. I like hot foods too..... :(
  • Use a high factor sun cream. Ok..
  • If you feel sick or dizzy, keep out of the sun and seek medical advice. Ok, i will take care of my health, insyaAllah..

**Lets be patience on the hot weather in the world, How about hot in the Hereafter ?
Did you think about that ??

A Mercy

bismillahirrahmanirrahim

12 Rabi'ulAwal. This date is well known to everybody either Muslim or non-Muslim. Everybody knows that it is the date of birth of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), but we do forget that this date is also the date of his death, or some of us do not know about this.

It was recorded that Prophet Muhammad was born on the 12th day of Rabi-ul- Awwal [the third month of the Muslim Calendar] which was Monday 20th April, 570 AD in Mecca, Arabia. While the date of death is on the evening of the 12 Rabi-ul- Awwal [June 8th, 632 AD]. The Prophet Muhammad passed away at the age of 63. He was buried the next morning at the precise spot he died in Medina.. The Birth and Death Anniversary of our Holy Prophet Muhammad is an event that should be remembered by all of us even though he himself not celebrate it. It’s a celebration of joy and mercy that recounts the compassion of the great Prophet..

Praise to Allah for sending Prophet Muhammad as our guidance..
Praise to Allah for sending him as a mercy not only for Muslims, but for all mankind..

Allah said in surah al-Ahzab, verses 56: "Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings (Solawat) on him, and salute him with all respect." Lets solawat together.. Allahumma Solli 'ala Saydina Muhammad wa 'ala aali Muhammad.. not only for today, but for the rest of our life...

A Mercy..
It is not only for ordinary human can be a mercy for All human kind.. This honor is just for Rasulullah s.a.w. who is the last Messenger sent by Allah to deliver His message of Islam, to bring mercy, to be a role model in any aspects of life.. Sollu 'alaih~!!

And i really love a story where Rasulullah kissed his grandson Hasan Ibn `Alee while Al-Aqra Ibn Haabis was in his presence. So Al-Aqra said to him: "You kiss your children. I swear by Allah, I have ten children and I never kissed any one of them!” Rasulullah (SAW) said: “He who doesnt show mercy (to others) will not be shown mercy (by Allah).” Verily, mercy – in our religion – encompasses this world and the hereafter, as well as mankind, animals, birds, and the surrounding habitats..

Allah has described Himself with mercy and He has also described His prophets and righteous servants with it. Allah says: “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those who are with him are severe against the disbelievers and merciful to one another.”

Allah has made his sending forth Rasulullah (SAW) as a mercy to all of creation, as He says:
“And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a mercy to the worlds.”

In fact, the existence of Prophet Muhammad bring happiness to the world either for Muslim or non-Muslim. He is only the one person which his life is recorded in every single detail
during his life and after his death. He is the only one who was described in the perfectness and the best creature. He brought the message of Islam as a way of our life. His message is comprehensive and cover all of our needs..

Yesterday, i attend a talk organized by al-Aqsa Friends' Society & al-Salam Club in IIUM. The title is very catchy, and i really want to know although i'm so tired settling my study works. "Our Prophet: What the Non-Muslim have said about him", delivered by Dr. Belghit Mohamed. In the beginning, they showed a multimedia presentation on the interview of some IIUM students that has been asked about some kind these questions: Who is Prophet Muhammad? What non-Muslim have done against him? What is your actions regarding this issue? At the meantime, i also ask the same question to myself.. So, What have you done to protect him???

I like to copy an Arabic poem as shared by the speaker, "When Allah loves someone, He let other people talk about him here and there". It's so true. It is a sign of love by Allah to His Messenger. The poem also goes to all of us. People will never stop talking, either good or bad, it is a sign of love! just remember that my friends...

Prophet Muhammad is also the only person when we know about him, we will want to know more. More we know, more we love him, more we admire his characters, more we want to follow him, more we thanks Allah for sending him as a mercy~!

"If Muhammad is alive today, we will be able to solve the world's problem, when he take a cup of coffee..", quoted by Bernard Shawl, and he is non-Muslim! Of course he will study about him first before he made this statement, and what do you really feel if Prophet Muhammad is still alive today? What will you do? Do you ever think about it??

Thanks to my brother, Zikri, for telling me the interesting TV programme in Egypt "Law Kana Baynana Muhammad S.A.W" (If Prophet Muhammad is still alive). This programme is thousand more better than any other entertainment programmes, some of them downloa
ded in the Youtube, but unfortunately, there was no english translation, but the Arabic is not a difficult one, they use Arabic common language, and can be easily understood by those who learn Arabic even the beginner.. Lets watch!

Episode 1

Episode 2 (1) & Episode 2 (2)

Episode 3

Episode 4 (1) & Episode 4 (2)

Episode 5

Episode 6

Episode 7 (1) & Episode 7 (2)

Episode 8 (1) & Episode 8 (2)

Episode 9 (1) & Episode 9 (2)

Episode 10 (1) & Episode 10 (2)

and many more episodes.. please see by yourself, honestly speaking.. it is really interesting Tv Programme. One more thing, please be honest to yourself and answer this question:

Surah al-Furqaan

Verses 63

And the servants of ((Allah)) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!";

Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing;

Verses 65

Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,-

Verses 66

"Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in";

Verses 67

Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes);

Verses 68

Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.

Verses 69

(But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,-

Verses 70

Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,

Verses 72

Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance);

Verses 73

Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind;

Verses 74

And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous."

Verses 75

Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace,

Verses 76

Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest!

Verses 77

Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!"

**Love these verses so much.. Hope that we able to achieve those criteria of the servant of Allah, the Most Gracious.. Lets be grateful and thankful to HIM The Almighty...

KunangKuning + Tasik Gelongsor

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

The interesting and funny title of this entry will make me smile and laugh all the night.. After have the best program at Baca@LRT and hangout with Moon during the day of 20Feb, i went to meet some old friends, still family and fren of JASA at the night. As planned by Haidir, we met at Kunang2 Restaurant beside the Shell Station.

I'm happy. It is a very long time to gather with this family members since we last met at our Appreciation Night last year. Although we came in a small number, but it still happening as before. We are all Alumni, the senior members except Tika. The brothers are Haidir, Ustz Mid, Syuk, Syam and Jaa, and the sisters are Affern, Dela, Tika and Me. This is our first time too to have a meal at Kunang2. Plus with the expensive price, the taste of food is not so good. That's why i prefer to call KunangKuning, I'm sorry to the owner, but please choose the right chef in the future.. Thank You..

We shared a lot of stories, and make some plans to strengthen our family relationship. The nearest plan is the convoi to Kak Yati's wedding on 20th March, insyaAllah. And honestly speaking, i miss so much all the memories that we ever had before, and remembering the sweet memories in this family can always make me wanna cry so bad.. But Jasa nowadays is not same like before. Too many juniors, too many new faces, too many changes, but the name of Jasa is chiseled in my very deep heart.. and i'm still hope that Jasa will be better from our days before..

Unfortunately, we will not come again.. Good Bye KunangKuning!

Then, we went to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa to just have a fresh night air after having not-so-good meal..haha.. We walked, not jogged, and chatted again and again with so much laugh and smile. The interesting place is the big playground with new fully games, and it is the only place is lightened by a big lamp. It was so exciting... As said by Syam, we will not play during the day coz there were too many children, that's why we have a lot of fun at night with not so many people there..hehe.. We played gelongsor, We played buaian, We ate ice cream, We enjoyed the walk too! Sadly, there were too many maksiat over there and we found many foods were thrown away, where there were many poor people will really appreciate to have that kind of foods...

Ice Cream~! Yummy..

Then, we reached UIA at 12 plus some minutes and not being asked by Pak Guard.. phew, selamat..hehe.. Tired but fun!!

Thanks Friends..

**Lets Focus on the Ibahah's test tomorrow!
My 'waiting day' was coming today, but it was really tiring day.. -__-"

Baca@LRT on 20 Feb 2010

Alhamdulillah...

I am so happy.. I was and still happy when i am so eager to write in this entry. The programme at Baca@LRT was successfully conducted today although i am only one of the thousands members, as well as one of hundreds participants on 20 Feb 2010. There were increasing numbers of participants more than last month, and it was really happening..

Thanks to Kak Syam for sending us (Moon & me) to Terminal Putra by her car, and fortunately we are not late.. I am so happy coz i thought that i might miss the train at 10.06am. Arrived there, i'm greet a fren that i knew from last programme, and i'm introduced mun to her, coz she asked about Aidah (joined last month). Poor Aidah coz she infected by chicken pox.... kesiyaaan sangat2.. May Allah bless her and have a good health then..

Yesterday, i brought 3 books; Cinta Fansuri by A. Samad Said for my reading, Hatiku terluka di Bukhara (for Mun's reading coz i know that she will not bring any books), and Ibahah's note coz i have a test on Monday but i cannot read that book in the LRT coz its A4 size note and everrybody will ask what am i reading coz it is in arabic. So, i just read Cinta Fansuri and i think that this is a special book coz i'm searching it for a long long time. i found the english one translated by ITNM as 'Fansuri's Love', but i wanna read the Malay one because i wanna have a deep imagination on A. Samad Said's writing. And this is the first book that i bought online at www.ujanailmu.com.my. Thanks for a very good service!

From Terminal Putra to Taman Jaya station, it took around 40 minutes. Arriving at TJ, there were so many readers at LRT that join us today. It was so exciting when the station was flooded by us. Fortunately too, there was a welcoming signboard from Book Excess by 2 ladies. It was an honor. We had a short briefing and photography session. We also have to fill the membership form worth RM100 but free of charge on that day. Then, we walked to Amcorp Mall excitingly to know the Book Excess shop.
A welcoming signboard
A flooded readers
New Friends

This two photo copied from Bro. Nizam at his Facebook

This is my first time to Amcorp Mall, as well to Book Excess (click HERE). The shop is small but the orange color is a fun color for readers and books. We have to queue first to submit the form and get a free Book Thong. It is so beautiful and cute. I chose a black color one but it has a cross sign, then i picked the chocolate color, and it still cute.. Then, when i look at the book price, it is so cheap compare to another book store especially there are international books and they have a big promotion on "Read more, Pay less". I like it! I just bought a book coz i save my budget to buy many books at Book Fest on March. Anyway, CONGRATS Baca@LRT. You did a great job~!

Book Thong. Pink is Mun's, Chocolate is mine

My new book, only RM17.90. Usual price is RM30-RM40
I knew this book from one of my frens

Then, Mun and I plan to go first without waiting anyone there, we went straight to Masjid Jamek station and walked to Jalan TAR to wash our eyes...haha.. I will not tell more stories about our enjoyment here, but thanks to my girlfriend, i love u so much Mun. I knew her from MC IIUM, and we still fren until now. We had a good attachment even though we are not share many things, we just understand with each other silently. I like that way.. Thanks Mun, and i do hope that our friendship will last forever...

A Story of Pencil

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

I wanna repost again a favourite story that i posted at my first blog http://bintukhair.multiply.com about a pencil.. from Like The Flowing River, by Paulo Coelho. It was a simple story but with thousand meanings. I love that kind of story. Simple and touch everybody's heart..

Ok, the story begin....

A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point, he asked:
"Are you writing a story about what we've done? Is it a story about me?"

His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:
"I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I'm using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up."

Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn't seem very special. "But it's just like any other pencil i've ever seen ! "

"That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on to them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world..

First quality: You are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand of God, and He always guides us according to His will (refer God to Allah only, the best guidance is Quran and Sunnah).

Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpener. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he's much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person.. (yeah, no pain, no gain... Suffer might makes you become better person..)

Third quality: the pencil always allow us to use an eraser to rub out out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice. (using pen cannot be erased except using liquidpaper, and it's messy..so, pencil is better... hehe)

Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So, always pay attention to what is happening inside you.. (it's so true, because, nowadays, we prefer to use mechanical pencil..but the graphite used is still the same.. still can be erased.. still in black colour.. be attentive in your inside rather than outside~!!!)

Finally, the pencil's fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. In just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action.. (absolutely true.. the mark can be good or bad.. so, use pencil wisely to have good mark as to act correctly as taught by Quran and Sunnah in our life...)

So, that's it... I bold the important points, and put some of my comments there.. The quality of pencil not only seen in our eyes, think with your aqal, and feel with your heart...

Thanks to Paulo Coelho for the nice story, and sharing is caring... ^____^
Thanks also to all my pencils which have the right to be appreciated.. All of you means a lot...
Thanks for the blessing day today..
and the most important Thanks.. Thank You Allah !
