Tahun Baru

Alhamdulillah
Tiga ratus enam puluh lima hari sudah berlalu pergi
Pahit manis turut dirasai
Masam masin juga telah dikongsi
Setiap detik yang berlalu sangat dihargai

Alhamdulillah
Untuk tahun baru ini
azam diperbaharui
yang masih belum dicapai teruskan usaha lagi
tetapi biarlah dengan satu tujuan murni
mengharap redha Ilahi

Alhamdulillah
atas semua nikmat kurniaan Maha Pemberi
kumohon agar sentiasa mensyukuri
biarpun ujian lautan berduri
semuanya mempunyai hikmah untuk direnungi
agar tidak lupa diri
atau bangga diri
kerana kita tiada apa melainkan dengan RahmahNYA

Alhamdulillah
Selamat tahun baru
biarpun ia sekadar angka
tetapi jangan biarkan angka itu pergi
dengan sia-sia
tanpa sebarang makna

Bismillahitawakkaltu
Selamat tahun baru

Tiga Puluh Tiga

Benarlah bahawa umur itu sekadar angka
yang dihisab bukan selama mana kita bernyawa
tetapi iman dan amalan yang menentukan syurga atau neraka

Syukur Yang Esa
dalam kehidupan tiga puluh tiga
aku masih bernyawa
cukup anggota
sihat tanpa penyakit nista

Syukur Yang Esa
dalam kehidupan tiga puluh tiga
aku masih anak kepada bonda
biarpun ayah sudah tiada
tanggungjawab seorang anak itu masih ada

Syukur Yang Esa
dalam kehidupan tiga puluh tiga
aku adalah isteri kepada suami tercinta
mengharap redha dia
berdoa agar sakinah, mawaddah wa rahmah sentiasa
bahagia hingga ke syurga

Syukur Yang Esa
dalam kehidupan tiga puluh tiga
aku adalah ibu kepada dua cahaya
penyejuk hati dan mata
semoga membesar dalam iman, islam, dan taqwa
dijauhkan segala malapetaka
dan dididik dengan penuh kasih dan cinta

Syukur Yang Esa

Syukur Yang Esa
aku kini tiga puluh tiga
dua puluh empat sembilan belas lapan lima

Alhamdulillah!

Thank you Husband!

Dear my husband,

Thank you for everything
I should thank you everyday and not only once in my life
I should thank you for every single thing that you've sacrificed for me
I should thank you for being a wonderful man yesterday, today and tomorrow
You are my husband, my hero

I should thank you for taking care of our son together
I should thank you for not complaining to swap duty and change nappy
I should thank you for showing your highest love to our baby
I should thank you for staying with us during our joy and sorrow
You are his great father, his hero

I am sorry if I forgot to say thank you
I am sorry if I seem not appreciating you
I am sorry if I carelessly putting burden on you

Thank you for everything
And you must never forget that I will and always love you

Overdue or Not Overdue?

My baby's not a library book,
So he's not overdue.
My baby won't take too long to cook
'Cause he's not veggie stew.

My baby's not an elephant.
And I am not fit to burst.
The time and date aren't relevant -
We're blessed with days, not cursed.

My baby can't read dates yet
Because he's very new.
There's no cause to fuss and fret
If he doesn't come on cue.

So stop your worry.
Stop your asking.
There's no hurry.
We're just relaxing
In this golden pregnant time,
This pause... just his and mine.

Now, you leave us be...
We are just fine.

Menguji & Diuji

Lama menyepi
bukan bererti melarikan diri
cuma bertafakur setelah diuji

Tuhan kasihi
Dia kan terus menguji

Betapa lemahnya diri
mengeluh berkali-kali
tapi nikmat terus diberi
hinanya hati
kerana salah mengerti

Tuhan, ampuni hambaMu ini
segala kurniaan aku syukuri
Kau Maha Pemberi
sedangkan aku kerdil sekali

Hanya padaMu segala puji
Terima kasih Ilahi

Usah Jemu Dalam Menuntut Ilmu

رضينا قسمة الجبار فينا        لنا علم ولللأعداء مال
وإن المال يفنى عن قريب     وإن العلم يبقى لا يزال

"Kami rela dengan pemberian (Allah) pada kami,
Kami diberi ilmu dan musuh diberi harta,
Dan harta musnah sekelip mata,
Dan ilmu tetap kekal tidak hilang."

-Ali bin Abi Talib-

- Imam al-Syafi'e -

Allahumma Balighna Ramadan

10 days to go
in searching the barakah
in looking for the maghfirah
in seeking the pleasure of Allah
in dreaming the Jannah
in making all actions Ibadah
in running to do goods
in avoiding bad deeds
in loving one another
in keeping away from evil wishper
in helping needy and poor
in donating the most loved things
in enjoying the words of God
in waking up at early morning
in hunting the laylatulQadr

Key of my Heart

I keep a key,
the key that locked a special flesh in my body.

I treasure a key,
the key that means everything in my life.

once in a time..

I throw a key,
the key that hurt my feeling.

then..

I lost a key,
the key that keep bringing me a happiness

and now..

I found a key again,
the key that embraced by you, my love..

And i do hope that this key of my heart will never loose again,
coz i know, you are the only holder of my key..

Love Poems: Khalil Gibran

“You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.
You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.
Ay, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness,
And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.

Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup.
Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf
Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone,
Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.

Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping.
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.
And stand together yet not too near together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.”

“Hearts united in pain and sorrow
will not be separated by joy and happiness.
Bonds that are woven in sadness
are stronger than the ties of joy and pleasure.
Love that is washed by tears
will remain eternally pure and faithful.”

 The Stranger within my gate,
He may be true or kind,
But he does not talk my talk--
I cannot feel his mind
I see the face and the eyes and mouth
But not the soul behind.

The men of my own stock,
They may do ill or well,
But they tell the lies I am wonted to,
They are used to the lies I tell;
And we do not need interpreters
When we go to buy and sell.

The stranger within my gates
He may be evil or good
But I cannot tell what powers control,
What reasons sway his mood;
Nor when the Gods of his far-off land
Shall repossess his blood.

The men of my own stock,
Bitter bad they may be,
But at least they hear the things I hear
And see the things I see;
And whatever I think of them and their likes,
They think of the likes of me.

This was my father's belief,
And this is also mine:
Let all the corn be one sheaf
And the grapes be all one vine
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Beloved IIUM

IIUM
The Garden of Knowledge & Virtue
The Paradise of learning
Nothing can describe,
Nobody can measure,
The education and wisdom..

Alhamdulillah for the uncountable Ni'mah
the happiness and sadness,
the healthiness and sickness,
which all gain in IIUM..

Memories never die,
Keep tight deep in the heart..

**Taaruf Week at IIUM in this week really remind me those memories as a freshie. Now, it's almost over 5 years I've been in this beloved university.. Miss those innocent days..

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Bismillahirahmanirrahim..

Yesterday was 12th May, today is 13th May, and tomorrow will be 14th May. Alhamdulillah i'm still alive for yesterday and today, but i don't know about tomorrow. Am i prepared enough for the death and the special meeting with God ? the answer will be remained only in my brain..

As i mentioned earlier, today is 13th May. If you remind what happened in the past historical event of 13th May in Malaysia, it was unforgettable event in Malaysian history. It should not be repeated again especially during the slogan 1Malaysia was widely spread in this beloved country. That incident is a yesterday's story, what about our next story for tomorrow and the future ? We don't know but HE knows, and we still hope that the tomorrow's story will be better than yesterday's..

Actually i don't have more idea to talk about it here, then i wanna share a poem taken from 'Life is an Open Secret' entitled Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Please enjoy the poem and i'm sure that you will get something from this poem..
Today is the tomorrow I worried about yesterday
and today was such a lovely day,
that I wondered why I worried about today yesterday,
so today I am not going to worry about tomorrow,
there may not be a tomorrow anyway..

So today I am going to live as if there is no tomorrow,
and I am going to forget about yesterday.
Today is the tomorrow I planned for yesterday,
and nearly all my plans for today did not plan out the way I thought they would yesterday.

So today I am forgetting about tomorrow and I will plan for today,
but not too strenuously,
today I will stop to smell a rose,
I will tell a loved one how much I love them,
I will stop planning for tomorrow and plan to make today the best day of my life.

Today is the tomorrow I was afraid of yesterday,
and today was nothing to be afraid of,
so today I will banish fear of the unknown,
I will embrace the unknown as a learning experience full of exciting opportunities,
Today, unlike yesterday, I will not fear tomorrow,
Today is the tomorrow I dreamed about yesterday,
and some of the dreams I dreamt about yesterday came true today,
so today I am going to continue dreaming about tomorrow,
and perhaps more of the dreams I dream today will come true tomorrow.
Today is the tomorrow I set goals for yesterday,
and I reached some of those goals today.

So today I am going to set slightly higher goals for today and tomorrow,
and if tomorrow turns out to be like today,
I will certainly reach all of my goals one day !!
InsyaAllah.. Certainly, all dreams will be achieved one day. If you still not decided yet about your goals and dreams, please do so. You are still not too late because you still have time. As George Eliot once said: "It is never too late to become what you might have been".

Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow is mystery,
Today is a gift !

Thank You

Thank you for the good times,
The days you filled with pleasure.

Thank you for fond memories,
And for feelings I'll always treasure.

Although with thousand "Thank You"
But it doesn't seem enough
unexplainable by words
but touchable deep in my heart

Thank you Allah
for sending a sweet person like you..
